Riyadh asks again that Iraq hand airliner kidnappers

Originally published

Riyadh again asked Baghdad to hand over the 2 Saudis who kidnapped a Saudi airliner to Baghdad last Saturday.

Prince Abd El-Rahman Bin Abd al-Aziz, the Saudi aviation and defense minister, urged Iraq to hand over the kidnappers of the Saudi airliner according to the international agreements to which Iraq adheres. This call came in concluding the meeting of the defense ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council states in Riyadh.

In replying to declarations in the day before yesterday by Iraqi interior minister Mohammed Zemam Abd El-Razek who indicated Baghdad's refusal to hand over the kidnappers, Prince Abd El-Rahman said that his country will take other procedures to get the two Saudis without providing further clarification.
