Cairo seminar on human rights hails Morocco's experience
A seminar on human rights held in Cairo this week has hailed Morocco's experience in the field and described the kingdom's project to include education to human rights in schools syllabi as "ambitious."
Participants in the seminar on education and dissemination of human rights culture said the Moroccan project can be a model for other Arab states, describing the project as ambitious as it targets 5.5 pupils in primary and secondary schools over the four coming years.
Arab and foreign searchers taking part in the seminar said the climate currently prevailing in Morocco and the faith of King Mohammed VI in the human rights cause are all assets guaranteeing the success of the Moroccan experience.
