Originally published

Sudanese president Omar Hassan al-Bashir has exempted police Lt. Gen. George Aroub from his office as a vice president in a decree he released on Sunday.

In a message he addressed to Aroub and published by the Sudanese dailies on Monday, the Sudanese President expressed appreciation for Aroub's efforts in serving the homeland and the march of salvation.

President al-Bashir indicated in his message that exempting al-Bashir from his office came to serve the interests of the country in the course of exchanging positions and recruiting him in other areas.
