A Jordanian draft law for canceling the peace treaty with Israel
Several Jordanian members of parliament have proposed a draft law to the Jordanian parliament states to cancel the Jordanian- Israeli " Wadi Araba treaty" signed in 1994.
Parliament member Salamah al-Hayari said that the draft law was submitted on Sunday by 12 out of 80 to the speaker of the Jordanian parliament.
Al-Hayari explained that the application submitted by the parliamentarians is based on article 95 of the Jordanian constitutions which avails the right to " at least 10 parliamentarians " to propose projects to amend laws that were previously endorsed by the parliament.
