Israeli forces occupies the Palestinian Rafah passage on Egyptian borders
The Israeli forces occupied last night the Palestinian Rafah passage between the Egyptian and the Palestinian borders and turned it to closed military area and evacuated all the Palestinian employees from it.
A statement by the Palestinian general security department referred to that a Palestinian security man has killed when the occupation forces shot fire on a Palestinian location at the Rafah passage.
Palestinian sources said that the Palestinian President Yasser Arafat informed the summit with what happened in Rafah passage and he asked the Israeli prime minister Ihud Barak to issue a quick decision regarding the Israeli forces withdrawal from the passage, for Arafat considered this a full evasion of the Oslo agreement and an official war declaration against the Palestinians.
Barak rejected these accusations and refused to get into the details.
