Mubarak and Abuallah discuss latest developments in the area

The Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak received king Abdullah Bin al- Hussein of Jordan who arrived at Sharm El-Sheikh city in a visit to Egypt in the framework of the coordination as well as consultation between the two states.

Jordanian sources said that "the talks held between the two leaders tackled the latest developments in the area including the meetings and communications of the two leaders to end the tense situation prevailing the area."

King Abdullah received a phone call from President Hosni Mubarak before heading to Egypt that tackled the prevailing positions in the Palestinian lands and the Israeli assaults against the Palestinian people.

Following the summit they held, the two leaders emphasized on the necessity to work on ending the violence and to find a solution to end the prevailing tension as well as putting an end to the Israeli aggressive works against the Palestinian people.
