EU projects to start program to support Morocco's private sector

The European Union is projecting to launch a program to support the private sector in Morocco and allocate one billion Dirhams ($ 91 million) to Morocco, said head of the European delegation in Morocco, Lucio Guerrato. The European diplomat who was interviewed on Saturday by the Moroccan first TV channel explained that broad lines of the MEDA program were developed differently from the previous programs in that they introduce sectoral reforms.

He added that these reforms are being discussed with the government, underlining the existing dialogue between the Moroccan government and the European Union which helps carry out Euro-Moroccan policy partnership and open new cooperation perspectives.
