Probe results into Egypt Air flight 990 crash out in November
"The outcome of investigation into the crash of Egypt Air Flight 990, which plunged into the Atlantic Ocean off the US East coast on October 31 killing all 216 on board, would be announced in November," said the National Carrier Chairman Eng. Mohammad Fahim Rayyan.
In press statements Sunday, Rayyan said two Egyptian and US investigation teams are currently analyzing the facts and data related to the crash before making public the final result of their probe.
He referred to meeting with representatives from Boeing, the plane manufacturer, and demanding clarifications as to the tail group and the possible impact of radar electromagnetic waves, which could change the course of the whole investigation process.
Rayyan said Boeing has pledged to exert its utmost effort to respond to Egypt Air's queries which reflect Egypt's theory of what really happened to its airliner.
