O.P.E.C To discuss the petroleum price increase

The O.P.E.C summit is to be held after tomorrow in Caracas to put a new strategy for the organization to enable it to prove its role and efficiency in the world economy and the oil markets in general.

A meeting is to be held tomorrow by the foreign ministers, the oil and finance minister in the member countries in O.P.E.C to discuss the raised issues before the committee.

Oil sources said "the meeting will discuss the draft of the concluding statement of the summit which comprises the member countries' stances in O.P.E.C toward the different developments on the world economic arena and it will determine its vision and future strategy to achieve its goals that were formed 40 years ago which guarantee the interests of the producers and the consumers, the stability of the world economy and putting controls for continuous discussions between the 2 sides to achieve the good for the whole."
