Iranian maneuvers on Iraq's borders

The Iranian navy is due to begin 5 days maneuvers in the gulf on coming Sunday at the anniversary of the war with Iraq (1980 - 1988).

Iranian military sources clarified that the operations will comprise joint maneuvers with volunteers who began their private maneuvers yesterday in an area on the borders with Iraq.

Also drivers and soldiers from the commandos as well as hundreds of sailors will participate in the maritime maneuvers that will comprise launching missiles and defending the maritime borders.

The army will organize a show in Tehran at the anniversary of the war due to which hundreds of thousands were killed and injured from both sides.
