Syrian defense minister confers with a Chinese military delegation

Syrian deputy premier and defense minister Lt. Gen. Mustafa Tlass on Thursday in Damascus received a Chinese military delegation led by Lt. Gen. Tang Tiang Beyo.

The Syrian news agency SANA said that talks dealt with " friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries's armies and means of developing them so as to meet the ambitions of the Chinese and Syrian people to friendship and cooperation."

The Chinese delegation also visited the chairman of the chief of staff of the Syrian armed forces Lt. Gen. Ali Aslan at his office.
