GCC ministers of culture meet in al-Riyadh

Ministers in charge of culture at the Gulf Co-operation Council GCC on Monday hold their 9th meeting at the general secretariat of the GCC in al-Riyadh.

Director general of human and environmental rights at the GCC general secretariat Abdul Aziz al-Jalal said in a statement that the ministers will discuss several key issues which back the march of joint cultural cooperation among the GCC member states.

Meantime, officials in charge of news agencies in the GCC member states concluded their 8th meeting they held at the GCC premises in al-Riyadh.

The participants discussed issues of concern to the GCC member states especially the relations with the world news agencies, and training to prepare cadres to cope in the area of information technology.

The GCC news agencies officials will submit their recommendations reached in the meeting to the next meeting of the GCC information ministers which is to be held at the GCC headquarters next Tuesday.
