Violent demonstrations in Sudan
Violent demonstrations broke out in most of Sudan's cities during which nearly five were killed while tens were injured as the demonstrators attacked governmental companies and banks and smashed cars.
The demonstrations confronted the police forces and power was used toward the demonstrators (students and citizens).
Governor of Kosti, General El-Tayeb Abd El-Rahman Mokhtar, said the demonstrations broke out during the meeting of the security committee and an investigation was opened and detentions took place in the demonstrators' lines.
The police forces in Abiad city separated demonstrations led by a group of students in Kardavan university who were joined by students from El-Abiad school.
Another peaceful march was led by the student's union of Kardavan university in a protest on the services deterioration.
