5 terrorists killed in confrontations with the army in east Algeria

The Algerian army forces killed 5 terrorists and arrested another terrorist in Batna governorate, 750 kilometers from east Algiers, when army members besieged the terrorism group for few days and finally arrested one of the group's members who tried to evade the siege to get supplies.

The army forces then attacked their hiding spot amid heavy bushes in Bu Areef mountain due to which the 5 terrorists were killed and some of weapons and munition were brought back.

Official sources referred to that this operation came following information presented by one of the repentant terrorists who assured the existence of the terrorism group in Bu Areef mountain.
