Arab League for the restoration of Arab rights
The Arab League has renewed the need of Israel's complete withdrawal from the occupied Golan heights up to June 4, 1967 border lines and from the occupied Palestinian territories including Jerusalem, according to UN Security Council resolutions 242 and 338.
In statements issued in Cairo on Tuesday, the Arab League chief said that the Arab states are committed to restoring back all Arab rights. He strongly rejected Israel's attempts to impose peace that serves its interests at the expense of Arab rights and lands.
He explained that the question of Jerusalem is un-bargained and it is under UN Security Council resolution which calls on Israel to withdraw from the occupied Arab lands up to June borders of 1967.
Abdul Miguid stressed that the realization of a just and comprehensive peace in the region requires a change in the Israeli policy which is in contradictory to the essence of the peace process and the international legitimacy resolutions.
