Russian civil airplane flies to Baghdad airport

Despite of the imposed air embargo on Iraq and amid U.S threats to Iraq, a Russian civil airplane coming directly from Moscow landed yesterday in Saddam international airport in the Iraqi capital Baghdad.

the Iraqi news agency did not reveal any details about the passengers who were on board.

This Russian airplane is considered the second of its kind that lands in Baghdad airport since it was opened for navigation in August.
