International university theater festival opens in Casablanca saturday

The 12th international festival of University theater opens on Saturday in Casablanca.

The event features 38 plays and shows by 10 professional and 28 university troupes from Benin, Croatia, Egypt, France, Germany, Guinea, Iraq, Ireland, Italy, Lituania, Macedonia, Morocco, Netherlands, Palestine, Portugal, Scotland, Slovenia, Spain, and Tunisia.

Workshops on the novel, poetry, cinema and theater, moderated by creators, artists and critics, are also on the schedule.

The festival to down curtains on September 12 is sponsored by the Ben M'sick college of arts and humanities.
