President al-Assad confers with Lebanese President

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Thursday in al-Qerdaha, Lattakia met wit the Lebanese President Emil Lahoud, the speaker of the Lebanese parliament Nabih Berri and with Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss.

The meeting was made on the sideline of the participation of the Lebanese leaders in the eulogy held to mark the 40-day elapse of the death of the late President Hafez al-Assad. Present at the meeting was the prime minister of Syria Muhammad Mustafa Miro.
