Lt. Gen. al-Assad takes constitutional oath today

Elected President Bashar al-Assad takes his constitutional oath today ( Monday) at the People's Assembly (PA), as an embodiment of his constitutional term by virtue of Article 90 of the constitution of the Syrian Arab Republic. The new president will deliver a speech after the taking oath ceremony dealing with domestic issues. He will also cover in his speech Arab and foreign issues.
