Eritrean delegation arrives in Amman

Eritrea's minister of commerce and industry Ali al-Sayed Abdullah arrived in Jordan on Sunday in a visit which will last for several days during which he meets with the Jordanian King Abdullah II and several high ranking Jordanian officials.

In an arrival statement Abdullah said that his visit to Jordan falls in the framework of continued contacts between the two countries. He noted that he is carrying a message from Eritrea's President Assyas Afourki to King Abdullah of Jordan pertaining to bilateral relations and recent developments in the African horn region especially in regard to the Eritrea's Ethiopian war.
