Moroccan surgeons stage cataract surgery campaign in Kosovo

A cataract surgery campaign was launched in Mitrovica Wednesday, part of cultural, social and medical activities held by the Moroccan committee of support to Kosovo.

The operation, which targets some 150 persons, is carried out by a medical team composed of four ophthalmologists and four medicaids.

The campaign, to last up to July 25, is organized in cooperation with Moroccan health department.

On Thursday, the Moroccan committee of support to Kosovo donated a set of books dealing with different religious subjects and comprising 120 copies of holy Kuran to the body in charge of endowments in Mitrovica.
