Arab League support for rebuilding Lebanon

The Secretary General of the Arab League (AL) Ismat Abdul Meguid on Wednesday sent a message to the minister of state for foreign affairs in Oman, Yousef Bin Alawi, who is the current president of the AL council.

The messages includes the Arab plan to implementing the recent decision taken by the AL council in Beirut on providing financial and material backing to Lebanon for rebuilding South Lebanon.

The AL assistant secretary general Ahmad Adel said in a statement in Cairo on Wednesday following his meeting with Oman's representative at the AL Abdul Aziz al-Hanai, that the message falls in the course of the AL move for implementing AL council decision on giving material and financial support to Lebanon.
