African development bank donates Mauritania $1.54 million

The Abidjan-based African Development Bank (ADB) has donated Mauritania $1.54 million, a release by the bank said.

The amount will finance the training of 80 executives from several ministerial departments and carry out and follow up the implementation of several projects, the release said.

With this new donation, ADB's operations in Mauritania, which started in 1974, are worth nearly $349 million.
