Islamic parliamentary conference: Jerusalem is capital of the Palestinian state

The concluding statement for the Islamic parliamentary union conference in concluding its works yesterday assured its full support to the peace process in Middle East, the land for peace principal, not giving up Jerusalem city due its special status for Moslems, banning the Israeli settlement in it, keeping the holy characteristic of the city and its corporations as well as its citizens financially and spiritually.

The conference was held under the chairmanship of the head of the Egyptian people assembly and head of the union Fathi Serour.

The statement assured full support to the Palestinian government for self determination, establishing independent Palestinian State according to U.N resolutions with Jerusalem as capital.

The statement urged the international community to stress on Israeli to carry out the UN Security Council's resolutions concerning the withdrawal from the occupied Arab lands.
