Egyptian economic operators in Morocco Thursday
A delegation of Egyptian businessmen is expected on Thursday in Morocco to promote Egyptian products.
The delegation, which comprises representatives of about thirty companies operating in engineering, textile, aluminum, agri-food and cosmetic products, will represent Egyptian exporters in the signing of accords with Moroccan peers.
The visit is part of decisions made at the Moroccan-Egyptian high joint commission held this May 22-23 under the co-chairmanship of the two countries' heads of states, King Mohammed VI and president Hosni Mubarak.
Parallel to the high joint commission, Moroccan exporters association (Asmex) and Egyptian young exporters association signed a cooperation agreement meant to promote bilateral trade.
The agreement provides for exchange of information and experience between Moroccan and Egyptian exporters.
The two sides also agreed to enhance cooperation in small and medium sized enterprises, set up joint ventures and commercial centers and to hold periodical meetings and exhibitions.
