Chirac speaks on the telephone with Saudi crown prince

The French presidency said on Monday that President Jacques Chirac on Monday made a telephone call with the Saudi crown prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz and reviewed with him the situation in the Middle East especially recent developments in Lebanon.

The same source added that Chirac expressed his hope that all sides concerned will continue to ease down the conditions there.
