Iran demands Iraq carry out items of the agreement of 1975

Iranian foreign minister Kamal Kharazi asserted that Iraq is Iran's neighbor yet it enjoys a history of causing problems during the past two decades, urging on the commitment to implement items of the agreement in 1975 between the two countries and making similar steps to release the Iranian captives. He urged Iraq to seek a different path than that which led to attacking Iran and Kuwait and pointed to the new spirit of cooperation in the region which include Iranian cooperation with the Gulf states and Saudi Arabia.
