Israeli backing for Ethiopia

French security sources have unveiled that an Israeli senior army officer was killed after he was wounded last week in an Ethiopian military position during the fighting taking place between Eritrea and Ethiopia last week.

The Paris-based weekly al-Muharrir News quoted these sources as saying that two Ethiopian army officers, one of them is a general, were admitted to one hospital with the Israeli officer in a private plane and are still treated there, SANA reported.
