Moroccan clubs in perilous African cups matches
Three Moroccan clubs, playing in the three African clubs cups, will make perilous trips this weekend to Senegal, Ghana and Rwanda.
Raja Casablanca, winner of last year's African Champions League, are in a difficult situation, as they will have to wrestle qualification in Senegal against the lethal Jeanne D'Arc of Dakar.
The Moroccans, who won 2-1 the away match in their home stadium of Casablanca, should avoid defeat if they are to stay in competition and defend their title.
In the African Cup of Cup Winners, the military team of Rabat (FAR) also need to avoid defeat in Rwanda against Rayon Sports. The first leg match, played in Rabat, went to FAR on the narrow victory of 1-0.
The Wydad of Casablanca is in no better position in the African Confederation Cup, as it will have to preserve the 2-1 victory three weeks ago in Casablanca against Ghana's Dwarfs.
