Al-Quds committee will have a say in final stage talks, Benaissa says
The Al-Quds (Jerusalem) Committee will have a say in the final status negotiations between Palestinians and Israelis, Moroccan foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Benaissa, said in Cairo on Tuesday.
The settlement of the issue of Al-Quds is scheduled within the final stage talks. At this stage, the Al-Quds Committee will have its say, Benaissa said at a joint press conference with Egyptian peer, Amr Moussa.
King Mohammed VI chairs the Al-Quds Committee, an offshoot of the Organization of the Islamic Conference. It works for the safeguard and defense of the Islamic and Arab identity of the holy city of Al-Quds.
Benaissa said the Al-Quds Committee is continuing its action to conciliate the standpoints of Islamic nations to restore the Palestinian people's rights over the holy city.
He warned against complications that risk to sabotage the whole Middle-East peace process.
