Israel fails to weaken European support for right of return to Palestinians

The Israeli Knesset delegation participating in the parliamentary conference of the European - Mediterranean countries which is concluding its works tonight failed in persuading the participants in the Alexandria conference to take stances in backing off from earlier resolutions backing the right of return for Palestinian refugees.

These earlier resolutions of the international parliamentary conference were adopted recently in their meeting in Jordan.

The conference witnessed yesterday evening Israeli attempts to gain support from the participants, while the European parliamentary delegations assured that the peace process in M.E requires implementing of international resolutions.

Worth noting is that the Jordanian parliamentary delegation withdrew from the conference's hall when head of the Israeli delegation spoke.
