Moroccan and spanish brain surgeons set up fund raising association

A Spanish-Moroccan association of friends of the Hassan II foundation for the prevention and control of the nervous system diseases was set up in Madrid on Monday to raise funds to finance the purchase of hospital equipment and surgery tools.

The association also seeks to raise awareness of the Spanish civil society and ngos of the foundation initiatives and to establish contacts between the foundation and other scientific associations, hospitals and universities in Spain to exchange experiences and promote access to new technologies.

The association groups physicians, representatives of Ngos, economic operators and honorary members.

The fund had set up similar associations with German, Canadian and US partners.
