Cairo: Sudanese National Democratic Alliance met the Libyan - Egyptian initiative trusteeship

A meeting was held between the technical trusteeship for the Libyan - Egyptian initiative and a delegation from the opposition Sudanese National Democratic Alliance at the headquarters of the Egyptian foreign ministry.

Spokesman of the alliance Farouk Abdu Esah said that "the meeting tackled means of vitalizing the joint Libyan - Egyptian initiative to reach a political solution for the Sudanese crisis besides exchanging ideas with the delegation of the initiative's trusteeship, urging to coordinate between the Libyan - Egyptian initiative and I.G.A.D to find a peaceful solution in a serious and effective way."

He said the opposition Sudanese national assembly assured the trusteeship of the Libyan - Egyptian initiative during the meeting on committing to this initiative and that the alliance does not accept any rumors or maneuvers from any front abroad about the lack of seriousness of the alliance to reach a solution, adding in answering journalists' questions that the national alliance wants to see seriousness by the Sudanese government.
