Originally published

A delegation of the Moroccan committee in charge of promoting the country's 2006 World Cup bid will travel to Kuala Lumpur to publicize the candidacy among Asian football officials.

The delegation, to be led by the committee's acting chairman, Driss Benhima, will present Morocco's dossier to the delegations attending the congress of the Asian Football Confederation, to open on May 18 in the Malaysian capital city.

The delegation will hold a press conference on the fringes of the congress. Morocco's challengers, namely England, Brazil, Germany and South Africa will also be attending the congress.

A Moroccan delegation had already attended the congress of the Central, North America and the Caribbean football Confederation CONCACAF, held May 10-14 in the Bahamas.
