Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament to visit France

The speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Saadoun Hammadi, is to visit France from May 16-19 at the invitation of the Senate's France-Iraq friendship group, a French statement said. Saadoun Hammadi will have a working meeting with the secretary-general of the Quai d'Orsay on May 18 at which the discussions will focus on bilateral relations, the regional situation and relations between Iraq and the U.N. Security Council.
