Italian company purchases the Tunisian Cement Company

The Italian company Colashim won a transaction for purchasing the governmental Tunisian cement company of 50 million Tunisian dinars (dollar = 1.2 dinar).

The company's productive capacity is estimated at 750,000 tons of cement annually and Spanish, French as well as Portuguese companies sought this sale yet the Tunisian government - according to an official statement - preferred the Italian offer due to its offer to keep labor rights in addition to its ownership of 9 companies inside Italy and a cement factory in Spain.
