Yemeni demonstration in al-Dale against police brutality
Eyewitnesses in Aden said that thousands of Yemenis demonstrated on Thursday in the city of al-Dale, southern Yemen, in protest of security violation and the brutality of the policemen.
The eyewitnesses said the demonstrators took to the streets of the city and raised banners calling for "demolishing military barriers" and protesting "lack of security" in al-Dale where one person was killed and other five wounded in confrontations with the security forces.
The demonstrators also called for trial of security forces men who cause these confrontations on charges of "being war criminal."
Armed confrontations took place on Saturday in al-Dale, between the citizens and the security forces following an attack carried out by the "central security forces " of the Yemeni ministry of the Interior against a taxi driver.
