First Lady Mubarak inaugurates Conf. on women and media

Egypt's First Lady Suzanne Mubarak, Chairperson of the National Council for Women, inaugurates today the first intellectual forum under the title "women & media."

Mrs. Mubarak's keynote speech at the conferencewhich will be attended by more than 200 public and specialized figures concerned with women's affairs as well as several think- tanks, men of letters and media men.

On the other hand, First Lady Mubarak embarks on an important visit Saturday to Britain where she will sponsor a large charity party whose donationas would be allocated to the British-Egyptian Institution for Children of Special Needs in Egypt.

Mrs. Mubarak will be the first President's spouse to visit the British parliament.

She will receive in the House of Lords a grant carrying her name with the aim of training Egyptian specialists to educate Egyptian children of special needs.
