Jordanian apology to Syria for the leakage of waste waters

Jordanian Minister of Waters and Irrigation Kamal Hadadin said that he received on Tuesday evening a telephone call from the Syrian minister of irrigation Taha al-Atrash in which the Syrian minister expressed Syria's understanding for the incident which caused the leakage of waste-waters into the Syrian territories into an area of 4.5 km inside Syria, causing heavy material losses.

In a statement to the Jordanian daily al-Dostour issued on Wednesday Mahadin added that a Jordanian delegation on Tuesday visited Syria to convey the Jordan apology for the incident, adding that "our Syrian brothers accepted the apology and showed every possible cooperation."
