Al-Hoss:Lahd has to give himself up to Lebanese judiciary
Lebanese Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss was surprised over the demands raised by the commander of the pro-Israel militias of the South Lebanon Army, Antoine Lahd, in asking for a general pardoning from President Lahoud, while Lahd is still carrying out attacks alongside Israel against Lebanese civilians and often targeted the Lebanese Army.
In a statement he made on Tuesday, al-Hoss called on Lahd to first give himself up to the Lebanese judiciary before he asks for anything, because he knows that if he does so he will only receive justice, transparency and the order of the law.
Al-Hoss stressed that revenge has no place in the policy of the Lebanese officials against anyone.
Al-Hoss added, "We will appreciate our Lebanese people and all the citizens who stood up to the occupation and suffered the prejudice of the collaborating Lahd militias. Those will return and they will be happy the same as we are for the liberation of our occupied land."
