Emir of Kuwait confers with Lebanese, UN officials

Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah on Tuesday in Kuwait received Lebanese Mufti Sheikh Muhammad Rashid Qabbani.

The talks dealt with friendship and cooperation relations between Kuwait and Lebanon and means of backing them.

Later in the day, the Emir of Kuwait also received the chairman of the UN General Assembly, Theopen Grobrab, and discussed with him issues of mutual concern and the latest political developments.
