Portuguese equipment minister in Morocco

Portuguese minister of equipment, Jorge Coelho, arrived in Rabat this Monday on a two-day official visit to Morocco.

The Portuguese official who is also minister of the presidency will confer with several members of the Moroccan cabinet.

Morocco and Portugal are bound by several accords in the realm of transport. The oldest of these accords, concluded in 1958, was related to air transport. In 1984, the two countries signed an agreement on maritime transport and in 1988

they concluded an accord on international road transport of passengers and goods.

The two countries' private air carriers Regional Airlines and Portugalia are also bound, since 1998, by a cooperation agreement.
