Israel may withdraw before coming July

Danny Yatoum, advisor to Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, asserted that Israel may end its occupation of south Lebanon before July, the date that was previously set by Barak. This came in statements made by Yatoum to Israeli Army Radio.

Barak asserted through his government's weekly meeting that any attacks against the Israeli north by the Lebanese resistance would not affect the planned withdrawal from south Lebanon.
