Originally published

The Israeli occupation forces on Sunday afternoon shelled the heights of al-Tuffah district in occupied south Lebanon.

Lebanese security sources said the Israeli artillery positioned in al-Zaffata area, shelled Jarjou, Jba’ and Arab Salim towns, the woods of Sujoud and al-Rayhan, Aqmata farm and al-Rafe mountain.

The Israeli attacks were coupled with heavy machine gun fire against mountainous roads which link al-Tuffah district to the occupied part of south Lebanon.

Meanwhile, Lebanese resistance forces on Sunday carried out several attacks against the positions and patrols of the Israeli occupation forces and the pro-Israeli South Lebanon Army militia.

In a statement the Lebanese resistance said a group of resistance fighters machine-gunned and rocketed a number of militiamen in the Burket al-Dajjaj position and that precise and accurate hits were scored.

The statement added that another resistance group attacked the Israeli forces in the Dhour al-Kassara and Beer Klaab area, resulting in direct hits among the positions' elements.

Further reports from south Lebanon added that the Lebanese resistance attacked the Israeli occupation positions in al-Tibe and al-Radar in the central and western sectors of occupied south Lebanon.
