Chretien's visit to Egypt comes in the course of his tour in the area that comprises Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Israel and Palestine to vitalize the Canadian role in reviving the peace process in the area in addition to Saudi Arabia to increase volume of the commercial exchange between Canada and Saudi Arabia. - An economic Austrian delegation composed of 25 businessmen and representatives of consultative services companies is starting today a 3-day visit to Cairo to discuss joint cooperation opportunities with Egyptian businessmen. A statement by the Austrian embassy in Cairo said the delegation will discuss basic infrastructure projects, marketing, technology, environmental protection and developing Egyptian industry as well as consultative services.
