Originally published

Sadek Naguib, the informational advisor to Sudanese President Omar El-Bashir, asserted that the meetings of the Egyptian - Sudanese supreme committee that will be held next month will study all the issues raised on its agenda, especially the unresolved issues between the two states and putting bilateral relations on the right course.

Naguib said the return of the opposition Ummah Party's leaders is a correct decision for its leaders at this serious time in Sudanese history, expressing his hope of the return of Ahmed El-Merghani, former speaker of the Sudanese state council, as soon as possible.

He said El-Merghani was never disputed with regime at any time and was always the voice of reason in the Sudanese policy, revealing communications made by leaders of Itihadi Party internally with the government to condemn the aggressions made by leaders of the opposition coalition, the National Democratic Alliance, in eastern Sudan in Hemshokorib city.
