Training session for mediterranean women journalists opens in Rabat

A training session for women journalists in the Mediterranean region on the theme "techniques of management of press enterprises" opened in Rabat on Monday.

The initiative, the third of its kind, seeks to familiarize participants with modern techniques of management of press enterprises and to promote journalists' knowledge.

A score of women journalists from Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Italy and Morocco are taking part in this session which will debate "determinant economic mechanisms of press enterprises," "new technologies and management of press enterprises."

Three workshops on elaboration of projects for the creation of a daily, women magazine and an audiovisual enterprise are also on the agenda.

The session is cosponsored with the UNESCO.
