President al-Assad arrived Back from Geneva

President Hafez al-Assad on Monday afternoon returned home from Geneva where he held with the US President Bill Clinton a summit meeting in which they reviewed the Middle East peace process.

Also arrived were the Syrian official delegation accompanying the President. The President was seen off by senior officials from the Swiss Confederation and in Canton, Geneva, members of the Syrian permanent mission at the UN premises and a number of Syrian citizens in Geneva.
