Parking facilities in Tangier free trade area
Parking facilities and services will be set up in the Tangier free trade area.
The project will be carried out by Afriquia (Morocco), Accor (France) and Ter Tir (Portugal) groups under an accord concluded here Monday between these groups and the company in charge of the free trade area.
The project includes an 11-hectare parking lot with a 900 lorries capacity that will require in a first phase an investment of $ 1.16 million, a gas station, a maintenance workshop, a small super market and a cafe that will cost $ 1.72 million and a 100-room hotel whose cost is assessed at $3.2 million.
The free trade area of the Moroccan northern city of Tangier covers 345 hectares providing space to 1300 enterprises and enabling the creation of nearly 60,000 jobs. Some 100 enterprises have already purchased land plots in the free trade area that will become operational by end of next July.
