Peres: We do not mind the establishment of a Palestinian country

Israeli Minister of Regional Cooperation Shimon Peres asserted his absolute support for the idea of establishing an independent Palestinian state as being the best available solution currently instead of establishing a bilateral national country in Israel.

Peres added in an interview with Israeli television that Jerusalem's permanent status must take into consideration the religious considerations in the housing structure in the sacred city.
